Sharpton in Michigan NAN Wheels Of Justice GOTV Bus Tour Thursday 

 

(Detroit,MI 10/23/2024)- The President of the National Action Network (NAN) and MSNBC host Reverend Al Sharpton will board the “Wheels Of Justice” GOTV bus at Detroit Metro Airport tomorrow, Thursday morning, embarking on a four city Michigan NAN GOTV tour.  

 

Sharpton will be joined by Marc Morial President National Urban League, The Central Park Exonerated) Five, George Floyd’s brother, Mary Waters Detroit Councilmember At-Large, elected officials and labor leaders. 

 

Reverend Charles Williams II, chair of Michigan National Action Network, who is organizing the tour said “what we in the civil rights community understand is that voter education, voter registration, and voter protection are going to be critical to ensuring democracy is fully at work during this crucial election. This is why we are criss crossing the state to recruit non-partisan volunteers, register voters, and encourage early voting!”
